An Introduction

 Hello all,

Just popping on to introduce myself quickly before I start to post on a (hopefully) regular basis.

I’m Lizzy, I’m a very fickle writer, but I like to think of myself as an Artist. A life well lived is a work of art in its own way, is not? I’m not sure if I’m living mine well or not, but I’m certainly trying to live it as authentically as I can. Pretentious, I know. I’m currently trotting the globe to really establish my role  as the fun and cool single wine aunt who travels widely and brings back global curiosities for all her friends’ small children, and also because I want to and I can. 

I’m currently road-tripping across the United States and I hope to spend a good portion of the summer in Europe. I will be documenting a good part of my trip, most likely sporadically, and very much however I feel like doing it. Should you choose to follow along or pop in to read a post here and there, you can expect anything from photo dumps and bad original poetry, to embarrassingly emo musings and semi structured life updates. I might even do some mini book review here and there. Book and wine pairing suggestions anyone? We’ll see what happens.

I’m mostly doing this to keep the people I love in the loop, but also because I need a platform for nonjudgmental self expression and nobody reads blogs, so this is a perfect place for me to experiment with my art. If you have any specific type of post you would like to see on my blog, feel free to request it in the comments or let me know what you think does or does not “work” in the posts I am sharing. I may or may not take your feedback depending on how motivated I feel. Can’t wait to chat with each of you <3
